Since Brentwood is a very residential area in Los Angeles, the activities to do in the area are more limited. You are close to Santa Monica, which has plenty of activities to do. However Brentwood is not completely free from activities. Below are some of the most popular things to do in Brentwood.

Paul Getty Trust this Museum features pre-20th-century European paintings, drawings, illuminated manuscripts, sculptures, and decorative arts. Approximately 1.3 million people visit the Museum annually. It is also free to enter all you need to pay for is parking. It is definitely a very popular destination and is a must see for anyone living or visiting near Brentwood.
Shopping: There are plenty of boutique shops to visit on San Vicente Blvd. This is a very popular shopping district with stores, restaurants, and coffee shops.
Brentwood Country Club: Unfortunately this is a private club so most people will not be able to enjoy it. However if you are lucky in enough to know a member it is a beautiful golf course to play on.
